Morning Star Inn & RV Park

I have stayed here many times during the last 20+/- year, clean, safe, it has the basics, and I can park my truck in front of my room door. Good price. The staff is nice and helpful. I plan to stay when I am nearby. BTW, I love the funky interior painting. You can get drab anywhere

Very nice place, well maintained and clean/fresh paint so colorful and bright. Very pleasing stay. Price point very reasonable as well. Only one request would be to have an additional cover for the bed/ top cover is very attractive, regardless but lighter than expected.

Place clean, updated and affordable. Was on a return trip home from family business in New Mexico and needed some sleep before continuing on to home. I had stopped for gas and decided to use Google to find a place to stay for the night and I was not disappointed. The clerk was friendly and.gave me a good rate for the night. The room was renovated and clean. No musty smell that I have encountered in other older establishments. The bew was comfortable and I was able to get a decent amount of restful sleep before continuing on my journey home. Thanks for the hospitality.

Wife & I spent 5 nights (Tue - Sat of Thanksgiving week) at Morning Star Inn. This an excellent example of renovation of an older Motel. We had #124, which has one Queen-size bed. The bed is comfortable, the room size is LARGE, the door lock is ultra modern electronic (just hold the.key close to the sensor & the lock clicks open. The AC/ Heater is a modern unit with digital thermostat & runs quietly - this unit is equivalent to those in modern chain motels. The carpet appears new & in good condition. The bath room has a modern tub surround so smooth that our portable grab bars w/ vacuum cup grips it easily. The tub surround has an integral foot mat in the bottom. The only reason I did not select 5 Star in that we are Senior Citizens who are taller than average & that the standard height bathroom commode is a challenge for us to arise from. The commode is relatively new & functions great but our knees don't. We replaced our home commode with one of the taller models, but they cost more than standard height. I attached our grab bars to the tub & surround to help us stand up. We anticipate returning to Morning Star Inn and will inquire if a Handicap Room is available. If you need an early start, Anson Donuts is open at 5 am 7 days each week.

My sister and I stayed here for one night. The young man that checked us in was very friendly. The room was spotless and clean and had good amenities with a microwave and refrigerator. The beds were comfortable, and it was very nice. We would stay there again, and it's reasonably priced.

I don’t stay in the rooms I use the RV spot. The front desk dude is awesome and nice. I enjoying staying here they give you plenty of privacy.

The room was very clean and comfortable, the only thing I have to say negative is the room didn't have hot water. I had my hopes on staying for a while for work, but ended up staying do further down the road, Which the other hotel was nice as well.

Morning Star Inn is a great place to stay. No fluff no frills but the people are nice and the rool.s clean. The beds are comfortable. We have stayed here 4 times in the past year. The last time last night I called they had a room. Only down thi g is Anson is small, it is eather convenient store or Sonic for breakfast. They do offered coffee in the rooms.
